Every person who sits in my chair carries more than hair.

They carry stories.

Some are celebrating.

Some are grieving.

Some are rebuilding.

Some are simply trying to recognize themselves again.

Before I ever became a professional braider, I spent over thirteen years working in psychology and healthcare. My degree in Psychology and my career as both a Social Services Director and Regional Psychological Evaluator taught me that healing begins when people feel seen.

When I entered the beauty industry, I realized something profound:

Women weren’t coming because they only wanted braids.

They were coming because they wanted someone to listen.

Someone to encourage them.

Someone to help them believe in themselves again.

That is why it is called Heavenly tHAIRapy.

Because hair may be what we touch…

But people are who we serve.
