I have really thick hair so I tend to keep it pulled back or will wear a wig. I live in San Diego but When I tell you traveling to her was TOTALLY WORTH IT! I have never, ever come across a braided as talented than she is. She has is soft and it doesn't even feel like the braids weigh my head down. This is sorcery I'm sure! Her parts are so freakin clean and detailed. I am in love with my braids and will definitely be back! Price is so worth it. To top it off she has a selection of her own braiding hair and hair/skin oil. She's definitely done her research and can tell what's going on with your hair just by feeling it and looking at it. Trust me, she's worth it!

I did my hair braids with her and ai loved it. She is caring about her client desires, very friendly, calm... My hair took almost 5 hours but I felt like I spent it with a friend :))))

If you are looking for an amazing stylist then stop looking! Tamika, at Heavenly Thairapy is the angel your hair needs! I had been in correspondence with Tamika a week prior to booking, and when I contacted her it was with a same day request. She was able to accommodate me, and had amazing patience to my million questions and special request(s) for my sew in. She made sure that everything was to my liking for the service every step of the install from the foundational braid pattern all the way through the bundles being installed. She even followed up with me after my service to make sure that I loved my install which was very impressive! So do yourselves a favor ladies and allow your hair to indulge in a little piece of heaven on earth!

Just had my first appointment with Mika and I must say, she definitely raised the bar for me! Believe me, I'm not easily impressed but her level of detail, her energy and personality is a trifecta. This place is a hidden gem. I found Tamika through Yelp as I was looking for a hair Braider to put in some cornrows for an upcoming vacation. Good hair braiders are very hard to find in Orange County! Her shop is adorable, and she was very prompt and professional. She braided my hair exactly as I wanted, and it was firm but not too tight. Perfection! Please give her your business. I'll definitely be going back for my next braided style.

Tamika is great, and very professional, she is also fast, my hair looks beautiful. I will definitely recommend people to try her. She is very polite and takes out the time to explain to you what is best for your hair. She is very knowledgeable on hair care, and she has her own hair growth oil that I have been using for a little over a month now and have seen great results!! I suffer from alopecia and she did an absolutely wonderful job covering up the spots where I have absolutely no hair. She has very gentle hands and my braids are absolutely not tight at all.
